This Hooker Electric Shimano 30 Kite Reel is capable of retrieving at speeds of 800 feet per min at 40 pounds of drag, with full variable speed.
The Hooker Electric Shimano Tiagra® 30A Kite Reel is is capable of retrieving at speeds of 1,000 feet per min at 40 pounds of drag, with full variable speed. This is not your typical small electric reel. Please take note: She is capable of breaking spars under hi-wind conditions while flying your kites, so set your drag before use. (No other reel manufacture can claim that.) The handle mechanism is retained and it can be used in low gear if needed. She is small, light, fast, strong, and sexy. Use it to catch Snappers, Grouper and Tilefish.
A classically designed reel, the Hooker Electric Shimano Tiagra® 30A Kite Reel is designed for rigorous daily use. This is a professional grade, narrow spooled 30 sized reel that is used for all kinds of applications but is best utilized as a mid-grade trolling reel. Anglers will find that the narrow spool is handy for levelwinding, and can easily land medium sized predatory fish like sails, dorado, wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin. The Shimano Tiagra A TI30A Two Speed Lever Drag Reel is made in Japan using all machined aluminum, which allows strenuous daily use.
