Fishing rods with a casual Southeast vibe, yet built for serious business, the TD SOL. Designed with the input of Southeast local guides and expert tackle shops and created for the inshore specialist, this line of 15 rods took years to perfect gather all the correct information from some of the best tackle store professionals as well as key guides that have spent decades out on the water.
Although they are ideal for southeast species like snook, tarpon, redfish and speckled trout, the rods cross over well to other east coast inshore fisheries. Manufactured using Daiwa's state-of-the-art HVF Carbon Technology, the blanks are lighter yet powerful & strong, lightening the load for inshore fisherman who hold the rod in hand for longer periods of time.
The rods are built with Cork and EVA grips according to angler preference depending on models. An innovative FUJI Backstop Reel Seat prevents premature loosening under regular use. The graphite constructed GRC Butt Cap keeps the rod weight at a minimum while eliminating the discomfort of a hard butt-cap.
The unique Fuji Tangle-Free K-Guides cast freely without hang-ups especially with pliant, braided lines. The Faz-Lite Rings are strong and durable. Both blank and components are built with quality and backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty. X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45-degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
